Job Description

About the role

We are looking for a Data Platform Product Manager who combines product thinking with a strong understanding of cloud technologies, FinOps and Data Platform operations. In this role, you will drive the evolution of a modern data platform and enable scalable, secure and cost-efficient data capabilities across the organization.

What you'll do

  • Define and execute the technical roadmap for the data platform.
  • Drive the development of cloud-based data environments across Azure, Databricks and related technologies.
  • Ensure platform scalability, reliability, security and operational excellence.
  • Lead FinOps initiatives, cloud cost optimization and budgeting processes.
  • Implement and improve DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code standards.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and coordinate procurement activities.
  • Oversee contracts, SLAs, licensing, purchase orders and invoice validation processes.
  • Collaborate closely with Data, AI, Engineering, Finance and Business stakeholders.

Qualifications

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of experience managing a data platform or technical product.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Services or similar cloud data ecosystems.
  • Practical knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
  • Experience with DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with technology vendors, contracts and procurement processes.
  • Understanding of budgeting, purchase orders and financial governance processes.
  • English proficiency at C1 level or higher.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Data Mesh, Data Governance or Lakehouse architecture.
  • Azure, FinOps or Product Management certifications.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, dbt or Atlan.
  • Familiarity with GDPR, AI Act and modern data governance standards.
