Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer with expertise in Software Development, System Invent, Integration, Security, Cloud Technologies, and AI-enabled solutions, with technology proficiency in .NET, C#, Docker, Kubernetes, C++, and other skills required to develop enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating AI capabilities into production and development systems. This covers API-based model usage, agentic AI patterns, and AI-assisted features with proper validation, monitoring, and guardrails. Additionally, experience with cloud-based deployments, automated infrastructure management, and modern DevOps practices is necessary. The candidate will build and lead product development that matches Aristocrat’s strategic product roadmap. Attention will be on implementation, scalability, reliability, and guidelines. This role will interact with our Product Owners and development teams directly to lead the implementation of solutions that improve product performance, quality, processes, and standards. As a Senior Software Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring that designs are aligned with the system’s technical roadmap while supporting secure, scalable cloud architectures and operational excellence. You will mentor and guide Associate Software Architects, Sr. and non-Sr. Software Engineers.

What You’ll Do:

  • You will participate in defining technical product requirements and high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality and integration with existing systems/platforms.
  • Produce and ensure quality code artifacts.
  • Ensure quality code is checked in to avoid broken builds that can cause delays to the team.
  • Participate in scrum processes like estimating, grooming, standups, code reviews, test case reviews etc.
  • Supports the development of strategy, frameworks, and standard processes and patterns for the development organization.
  • Design and implement cloud-native deployment strategies, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD processes that support scalable, reliable, and secure enterprise application
  • Design and integrate agentic AI solutions that can autonomously plan, coordinate multi-step workflows, and take actions across systems while operating within defined business rules, validation controls, and security guardrails.
  • Identify and fix code level problems quickly and efficiently
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Work with teams in other geographic locations. This includes being flexible with hours to accommodate other time zones.

  • Build server administration and deployment automation experience, including CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform (preferred).
