We are looking for an English Acquisition Teacher for a bilingual school based in Changzhou. This position involves teaching Grade 5 and Grade 6 students and is available for the 2026–27 academic year, with an immediate start.

Job responsibilities

  • Teach English Acquisition to Grade 5 and Grade 6 students, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Prepare lessons, design and mark assessments, and write report comments
  • Develop students’ English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive English Acquisition curriculum
  • Collaborate with other teachers and departments to support students’ learning and English language development across subjects


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in education
  • Teaching licence
  • Experience teaching in a mixed-ability classroom
  • A proven track record of success in the classroom


  • Monthly salary of 27,000 to 33,000 RMB, commensurate with experience and qualifications
