Sentara Medical Group is hiring several full time positions throughout Virginia and North Carolina. Sentara Internal Medicine and Family Medicine locations located in areas from Halifax, to Virginia Beach, to Northern Virginia and Charlottesville are accepting applications for 2027 and 2028 start dates.
Position Highlights:
40 hours per week Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (36 patient-facing hours and 4 hours of admin)
Average number of patients per week 80-90
In a large call group with infrequent call nights.
Call is minimal, phone only and triaged first 24/7 by an RN
No hospital rounds required
Provide primary care for patients in the panel. Age restrictions negotiable.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $256,505.60 - $353,808.00 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
