About the Role

As Press & Marketing Intern, you will be supporting the coordination, planning and execution of press and marketing campaigns. You will work closely with Global Press & Marketing Teams, with a focus on the Paris auctions. Reporting into the Head of PR and Communication, Europe you will be part of the global press & marketing team, taking part in regular Marketing meetings at a global level. You will also work very closely with the Marketing Manager, Paris for all marketing duties and responsibilities. Other key internal partners will include Events Manager, Operations, DTP and Events.  

Key Tasks and Responsibilities 

Marketing Duties and Responsibilities: 

Work closely with the Marketing Manager Paris on the execution of the Paris saleroom marketing strategy: 

• Coordinate the implementation of marketing campaigns for auctions allocated by the Paris Marketing Manager, liaising with designers and relevant stakeholders, including the production of promotional and consignment collateral, digital marketing assets, email marketing and video production.  

• Coordinate the execution of eCRM campaigns through Salesforce Marketing Cloud.  

• Coordinate the production of online editorial content.  

• Support the production of print advertising, ensuring all materials are delivered on brand and on schedule.  

• Support the planning and production of printed collateral and on-site signage, liaising with internal teams and external suppliers.  

• Assist with the coordination of Bonhams social media channels and content production as required.  

• Assist with the coordination of photo and video shoots as required. 

Press Duties and Responsibilities:  

Work closely with the Head of PR and Communication, Europe and the Paris/London press & marketing colleagues on global communications strategies. 

• Coordinate the planning and implementation of press campaigns to promote our Paris & Brussels auctions and exhibitions. 

• Support the production of communications materials, including with writing, proofing, and translating press releases, media alerts and invitations. 

• Source and clear images for communications use across digital platforms including website and social media. 

• Respond to media & image requests, monitor media coverage, and collate press clippings. 

• Oversee the monitoring of the press database, including with proactively gathering new press contacts. 

• Assist with photocalls, press breakfasts and other press events when required – in collaboration with Operations. 

In addition to the tasks and responsibilities listed, you may be required to perform other duties as assigned by your manager. 

This may include ad-hoc Events Responsibilities to support the Events Manager in the
execution of events.
 

Key Skills and Experience

• Highly organised and creative thinker 

• You will have strong proof reading and editing skills 

• Excellent written and verbal communicator in French and English 

• Experience of managing online marketing campaigns, desirable 

• Ability to work towards meeting tight deadlines 

• Excellent organisational skills 

• Good understanding of art and luxury arena
