Job Description Summary

This position requires to effectively deliver Transactions aligning with the strategy for Real Estate portfolio and its contract in Japan. The resource will work closely along with the RDC (Real Estate & Data Center Services) Leader and the team in Japan as well as APAC. Responsible for the timely transaction management of all lease contracts on behalf of local and/or regional manager of RDC. Responsibilities include market optimization planning, monitoring internal/external workflows to ensure consistent quality of service and work product and mentoring and/or oversight of the Transaction Coordinator role. This also includes some administrational work around contract sealing.

About the Role:

  • Manage real estate transactions end-to-end by coordinating lease, sale, purchase, and sublease activities, supporting negotiations, due diligence, legal reviews, documentation execution, and dispute resolution.

  • Provide portfolio and strategic planning support by developing real estate strategies, identifying occupancy cost-saving opportunities, validating financial assumptions, and helping execute portfolio action plans.

  • Oversee transaction reporting and financial accuracy through financial analysis review, revenue tracking, lease payment variance assessment, database maintenance, and ensuring accurate transaction reporting.

  • Drive process improvement and compliance by implementing standardized procedures, maintaining lease records and systems, managing client and broker documentation, and ensuring adherence to real estate standards and governance requirements.

  • Support stakeholder coordination and administration by leading client meetings, presenting transaction updates, coordinating site visits, managing lease-related vendor setup and invoices, maintaining lease documentation, and supporting sublease and space utilization agreements

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required in any field; finance/real estate preferred
  • 3+ years of real estate experience in transactions management or corporate real estate
  • Must obtain and hold local real estate salesperson license
  • LEED, MCR, CCIM designations are a plus
  • Ability to read and understand commercial real estate transaction documents, such as a lease, purchase & sale agreement, sublease agreement, NDA, estoppel, assignment agreement, etc.
