Porsche Pro (Technology Specialist) - Porsche Austin

Porsche Austin is looking for Porsche Pro to join our team of dedicated professionals.

Job Summary:

A Porsche Pro is a technology specialist at the dealership whose primary role is to educate clients, demonstrate vehicle features, and support the sales team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Product Education: Explain detailed vehicle specifications, performance capabilities, and luxury tech (such as Porsche Car Connect and telematics).
• Client Deliveries & Masterclasses: Lead personalized new-owner handovers and host follow-up sessions to ensure clients master their car’s functions.
• Test Drives & Tours: Conduct test drives and facility tours (service and parts departments) for showroom visitors.
• Sales Support: Assist sales executives by answering deep technical questions and keeping dealership staff updated on upcoming model changes.
• Troubleshooting: Act as an initial point of contact for ownership technology questions or basic troubleshooting.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Communication: Exceptional verbal presentation skills with experience in high-value or luxury retail markets.
• Knowledge: A strong continuous-learning mindset and deep affinity for automotive technology and the Porsche brand.
• Availability: Flexibility to work standard retail hours, which often includes Saturdays.

Education and Experience:

• Valid driver’s license held for at least two years with good driving record.
• Must be able to drive manual and automatic transmission.
• At least 22 years of age for insurance purposes to drive vehicles
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• May lift objects that weigh as much as 15 lbs.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Prolonged periods of standing.
• Position typically works inside the dealership but may walk the parking lot.
