About the Role


Ingram Micro is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Platform Specialist - Cisco to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as a key operational and sales support partner, helping drive the success of our Cisco business through quote management, order processing, partner support, and cross-functional collaboration.


The ideal candidate understands the fast-paced technology distribution environment and enjoys working with sales teams, vendors, and partners to ensure a seamless customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting Cisco products, licensing, renewals, or channel operations who wants to grow within a global technology leader.


What You'll Do


  • Support Ingram Micro's Cisco business by managing quotes, orders, licensing requests, and partner inquiries.
  • Review and process sales orders with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Partner closely with Inside Sales, Vendor Management, Customer Service, Operations, and Cisco representatives to meet customer needs.
  • Prepare product, software, subscription, and licensing quotes for customers and channel partners.
  • Monitor order status and proactively resolve issues impacting fulfillment or delivery timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Analyze account activity, sales data, and market trends to provide meaningful business insights.
  • Manage lead and order activities within assigned territories or account segments.
  • Identify process improvements that increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to less experienced team members.
  • Participate in vendor promotions, programs, and initiatives that drive Cisco business growth.

  • Experience supporting Cisco products, services, subscriptions, renewals, or channel partner programs.
  • Strong understanding of sales operations, quoting, order management, or customer support processes.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience working within technology distribution, IT sales, channel sales, or vendor operations.
  • Knowledge of Cisco licensing, subscriptions, Cisco programs, or partner ecosystem.
  • Experience using CRM, ERP, or quoting systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including reporting and data analysis.
  • Experience supporting technology vendors such as Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, HPE, Dell, or related IT solutions.

Required Qualifications


  • Associate degree and 3+ years of relevant experience; OR
  • High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven experience in sales support, operations, customer service, vendor support, order management, or related functions.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $43,800.00 - $70,100.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
