Job Summary: The Operator will run a Plate Roll Press to fabricate parts.
Functional Job Duties:
- Competent use of hand, bench, and machine operations to perform deburring, filing, grinding, and polishing on machined parts.
- Understanding of and ability to utilize a tape measure, squaring tools, electronic level, calipers, and micrometers.
- Understand tolerances for parts.
- Ability to understand why machines are not a peak performance and how to increase output.
- Accuracy with alignment, dimensional, and general inspection requirements. Perform spot inspections of parts.
- Interpretations of work orders, blueprints, and bills of materials. Complete and maintain paperwork.
- Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum, and regular steel).
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing setting operating roll press.
- Prior fabrication experience
- Have the ability to read a tape measure.
Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to go up and down stairs.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Must be able to do unaccompanied travel.
- Must be able to tolerate shop environment and exposures associated with welding and industrial equipment manufacturing, and apply appropriate safety equipment when required.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in company duties

- Must possess strong leadership, analytical thinking, effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with persons inside and outside of the company.
- Must have the ability to perform mathematical calculations related to job requirements.
- Must be able to work under stress.
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities.
- Must be able to process paperwork effectively.
