Planning Engineer Specialist
About this role
* Develop detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
* Create work breakdown structures (WBS) and project timelines.
* Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against the baseline schedule.
* Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, design, and project management teams.
* Identify potential delays and propose recovery plans.
* Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management.
* Track project milestones and critical paths.
* Support resource planning (labor, materials, and equipment).
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
* Ensure projects comply with contractual deadlines and client expectations.
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
* Around 2–5 years of experience in planning for construction, fit-out, finishing, or real estate projects (depending on the seniority).
* Strong knowledge of:
* Primavera P6 (often essential)
* Microsoft Project
* Microsoft Excel (advanced)
* AutoCAD (preferred)
* Understanding of project scheduling techniques, CPM (Critical Path Method), and earned value concepts.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Fluent English is typically preferred.
