The role

We are seeking a motivated Planning Engineer to join our team for a key hydropower project based in Peshawar. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, and management, contributing to the successful execution of a high-impact infrastructure initiative.

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using advanced planning tools.

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment of project timelines with execution plans.

• Analyze project progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions to meet deadlines.

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on schedule performance for stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards in all planning and scheduling activities.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.

You will bring proven experience in a similar consultancy role, with a strong ability to build trusted relationships, drive positive change and secure new work.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

·        Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. B.Sc in Civil Engineering)

·        Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling for large-scale infrastructure or hydropower projects.

·        Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.

·        Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.

·        Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
