Overview:

Sentara Therapy Center Blocker is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant in Norfolk, Virginia

This is a Full-time, Day shift opportunity with great benefits.

The hours of operation for the center are:

730 am -6 pm on Mondays & Wednesdays;

8 am -7 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays ;

and 8 am - 4:30 pm on Fridays

The ideal candidate will be flexible to work early morning schedules and late evening schedules to accomodate hours of operation of the facility.

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.

Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Education:

Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant

Certification:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
• RQ IAmerican Heart Association (AHA)
• RQI American Heart Association (AHA) RQI

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $32.18 - $47.43 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
