This is a learning role first. The Phlebotomy Apprentice performs all clinical functions under the guidance of experienced educators and department leaders, using each supervised patient encounter as an opportunity to build confidence, refine technique, and develop the professional skills required for independent phlebotomy practice.

The rate of pay for the apprenticeship will be $20.00/hour.

Competency is assessed formally and incrementally throughout the program, with the goal of preparing the Apprentice to sit for a nationally recognized phlebotomy board examination upon program completion.
