Personal Injury Attorney

Job Title: Personal Injury Attorney (Pre-Litigation & Trial) Position Overview: We are seeking a results-driven Personal Injury Attorney to manage a caseload from intake through resolution, including both pre-litigation and trial matters. This role requires strong negotiation skills, litigation experience, and a client-centered approach to delivering exceptional outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Pre-Litigation Manage a high case load of personal injury matters from intake through settlement Conduct case evaluations, liability analysis, and damage assessments Draft and submit demand packages to insurance carriers Negotiate settlements to maximize client outcomes Maintain consistent communication with clients, medical providers, and adjusters Litigation / Trial File lawsuits and manage cases through the litigation lifecycle Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery (written and depositions) Attend hearings, mediations, arbitration, and settlement conferences Prepare cases for trial, including strategy, witness prep, and evidence review Represent clients in court and trial proceedings as needed Requirements Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in California 4+ years of experience in personal injury (plaintiff or defense) Experience handling cases in both pre-litigation and litigation phases preferred Strong negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills: Trial experience or strong interest in trial work Experience with case management software (e.g., Filevine, Clio, Needles) Ability to independently manage a caseload while collaborating with a team Client-focused mindset with high emotional intelligence Benefits What to Expect: Manage your own caseload with autonomy and support Work closely with a team of paralegals and support staff Opportunity to take cases to trial and grow trial experience Competitive compensation structure (base + bonus/commission) High-impact role directly influencing client outcomes and firm growth Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary + performance-based bonuses Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Professional development and CLE support Opportunity for growth into senior or lead trial roles Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Royalty Medical Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
