People Operations Specialist

We’re looking for a People Operations Specialist who will help create a seamless, efficient, and people-first experience across the employee lifecycle. This role is for someone who loves bringing structure to processes, solving problems before they become problems, and making sure every detail is handled with accuracy. From pre-onboarding and employee onboarding to offers, background verification, HR systems, and compliance, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our People Operations engine running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire employee lifecycle – Pre-onboarding documentation – ensuring alignment with internal policies and SLAs.
• Manage the entire employee onboarding procedure, policies and maintenance of records. 
• Knowledge and Hands on experience in working on various HRMS systems and tools. For example - BambooHR, DarwinBOX, Workday, etc.
• Own the BGV process by managing third-party vendors or internal teams to ensure timely and accurate verifications.
• Develop and monitor dashboards for offer release and BGV status, report on key metrics and SLAs.
• Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, HR Business Partners, and Legal to ensure seamless coordination and compliance.
• Continuously audit and improve offer and BGV processes for efficiency, accuracy, and candidate experience.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant labour laws, data protection regulations, and company policies.
• Handle escalations, exceptions, and complex cases related to offer terms or BGV issues.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree In Human Resources or related field.
• 4+ years of HR experience with a strong background in offer management and background verification.
• Prior experience in handling end to end employee lifecycle & vendor relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality and compliance
