Peer Assisted Learning Hub - Program Evening Lab Supervisor

Job Description: 

Oversee the Peer Assisted Learning Hub Program Sunday–Thursday, 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. during the fall and spring academic semesters. This is a nine (9) month, part-time position. 

Job Duties:

· Supervise students and student workers.

· Communicate and enforce institution policies.

· Trouble-shoot problems with equipment as needed.

· Gain knowledge learning management software.

· Perform general office duties to include data entry, filing, answering the telephone, greeting students, and monitoring traffic.

· Check-out office materials for faculty and students as needed.

· Keep records of facility utilization through check-in system.

· Close and secure EDGE at night.

· Special projects as assigned by the EDGE Team.

Required Qualifications: 

High School diploma. One year of related work experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of computers. Previous customer service experience working with the public.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in related areas; Two years prior work experience in an educational setting. Some experience in a supervisory role. Ability to tutor STEM related subjects.

Minimum Required Education:

High School/G.E.D.
