Patient Services Coordinator / Provider Coordinator for client in Coon Rapids, MN!
Seeking an experienced Patient Services Coordinator / Provider Coordinator for a 13-week, full-time onsite contract with potential for extension. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
Key Requirements
- 2–5 years of healthcare scheduling, patient access, provider coordination, or medical office experience
- Direct infusion scheduling experience required
- Strong Epic scheduling experience required
- Experience managing provider schedules and patient appointments
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong communication, customer service, organization, and multitasking skills
Preferred
- Oncology infusion scheduling experience
- Prior Provider Coordinator experience
- Insurance verification/prior authorization experience
- Experience with referrals, work queues, and medical records
Responsibilities
Coordinate infusion treatments and patient appointments, maintain provider schedules in Epic, manage scheduling/referral work queues, assist with insurance verification and authorizations, provide telephone support, and support patient records and administrative workflows.
