About the Opportunity

The College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University invites applications for a non-tenure track part time faculty lecturer in Regulatory Affairs on the Boston campus.


Northeastern University's College of Professional Studies is seeking part-time faculty to teach graduate-level, on-ground courses in Boston for the Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs program and its associated graduate certificates.


The College of Professional Studies is one of ten colleges of Northeastern University, a nationally ranked private research university. Founded in 1960, the College provides lifelong experiential learning that unleashes the capacities of aspiring individuals in all stages and walks of life. The College teaches undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students on campus and online in more than 90 programs.

Furthermore, the successful applicant must be able to maintain valid work authorization in the United States throughout the entire appointment without Northeastern University’s sponsorship for a visa.


Responsibilities

Qualified candidates must be prepared to work with global student populations.


Instructional areas include, but are not limited to, drug and biologics development, medical device regulations, clinical trial management, commercialization of medical products/technology, law and intellectual property, international regulatory affairs, and regulatory writing.


Qualifications

  • Candidates must hold a terminal degree (e.g., a doctorate), OR a Master's degree in a scientific discipline with a minimum of five years of relevant industry or government experience.
  • A history of successful teaching at the graduate level is strongly preferred. Candidates must be able to teach on campus in Boston at least one night a week for a 7- or 15-week course.
  • RAC certification is strongly preferred.
