Job Overview:
The part-time labor position at the recycling center is to assist the public with their recycled materials in a drive through environment.
Specific Tasks, Duties, & Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe, efficient facility
- Provide excellent customer service to the public
- Operate forklift, box truck, balers and grinders
- Assisting other areas with any needs, requests, or complaints
- All other duties as assigned
Worker Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Able to comprehend, retain, and carry out instructions
- Able to work with unclean materials
- Able to multitask
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Capable of performing physical labor, some of which can be demanding
- Able to constantly stand, walk, bend, and reach for items (may be repetitive motions)
- Able to lift, push/pull a weight of up to 50lbs+
- Withstand exposure variable temperatures (including extreme hot/cold)
- Perform job around various elements (i.e., animals, dust, and allergens
