Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties in HOA clubhouses and commercial office buildings, including:
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Emptying trash and recycling receptacles.
- Replenishing supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
- Cleaning windows and mirrors.
- Follow detailed cleaning instructions and adhere to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all assigned areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is required.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting up to 30 lbs, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Work schedule
- Part-time, 20-30 hours per week (Monday – Friday).
- The schedule will be a set schedule, but hours will range from daytime to evening hours.
- Schedule may change over time as clients are gained and lost.
