Part-time Football Coach (Foxes FC)

About the job
Department: Academy
Location: Hyde Park & Chiswick
Compensation: £15-20
Start date: Immediate

Description

As an Academy Football Coach at Foxes FC, you'll help young players fall in love with the game and grow into the best version of themselves, on and off the pitch. You'll lead high-quality sessions for boys and girls aged 6–18 and be the face of The Foxes Club for players and parents every week.

You'll coach weekly training sessions and manage our weekend Matchdays, creating a fun, safe and challenging environment where every player is supported to develop in line with our academy philosophy. You'll work alongside UEFA-qualified coaches and learn from some of the best in the grassroots game.

Since 2009, Foxes FC has been leading grassroots football. We're a Nike Partner Club, a Junior Premier League club and 3 Star England Football Accredited, and our teams compete in the JPL, Harrow Youth League, Regents Park Youth League and Middlesex FA competitions.

Coaches who thrive with us have a clear pathway into full-time coaching roles within The Foxes Club. You'll be backed by ongoing CPD, a supportive coaching team and top-class facilities.

Foxes FC Academy is the place to grow your coaching career while making a real difference in kids' lives.

What We're Looking For

Foxes Values:

• Be reliable. You turn up on time, prepared and ready to go, every session and every Matchday.
• Bring the energy. You make sessions fun and engaging, and players leave excited to come back next week.
• Keep learning. You want feedback, you act on it, and you're always looking to improve as a coach.
• Be a team player. You support the coaches around you and take pride in what the academy achieves together.
• Do the right thing. You represent Foxes FC with warmth and professionalism, whether you're with players, parents or colleagues.

Foxes Coaching Skills:

• Well-planned, high-quality sessions. Your sessions have clear objectives and good progressions, and they help players build both technical skill and a passion for the game.
• Player-first coaching. You get to know your players as individuals and adapt your coaching so every child feels safe, challenged and included.

• Matchday management. You stay calm and organised on the touchline, and you use games as a chance for players to learn and enjoy themselves.
• Safeguarding and professional conduct. You take your safeguarding responsibilities seriously and follow club policy at all times.
• Great with parents. You communicate regularly, clearly and warmly with parents, players and the wider coaching team.
