You'll provide structured 1:1 tutoring sessions focused on 4th grade math, writing, and executive function skills. The family is looking for an educator who designs the learning experience, not someone who supervises homework completion. Twelve guaranteed hours per week provides reliable, predictable income. About the Student Jake is a bright, bilingual 8-year-old entering 4th grade who thrives in 1:1 learning environments. He is a strong reader with high energy and a tendency toward distraction — group tutoring and passive homework help have not been effective. What works is a structured, warm educator who arrives prepared, holds the session with consistency, and adapts instruction to keep him engaged.
