About the Role

Develop competitive packaging solutions based on technical knowledge, material expertise, and trend analysis, while considering logistics efficiency and sustainability to meet channel needs and enhance the consumer experience.
 

What Will You Do?

• Design packaging at a technical level for strategic and tactical projects, ensuring compliance with launch timelines in order to achieve the Company's objectives.
• Work closely with suppliers to identify packaging opportunities, defining optimal conditions that provide the right balance between product protection, cost, logistics, and sustainability.
• Plan and support the development of packaging trials in manufacturing plants and assist Product Analysts during trial runs.
• Research packaging trends by monitoring market behavior, emerging channels, and usage patterns to generate innovative solutions.
• Prepare packaging material and finished product technical specifications based on both internal requirements and supplier specifications.
• Prepare, consolidate, and analyze packaging-related reports.
• Execute the policies and measures established by the organization to ensure the safety of employees and company assets under their responsibility, as well as compliance with quality standards and environmental protection requirements established by applicable legislation, regulations, and best practices.
   

Who Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing processes, packaging development, and product development.
• Desired technical skills: Packaging design (Cape Pack), technical drawing/layout design (AutoCAD), ERP systems (SAP), and Microsoft Excel.
• Desired cross-functional competencies: logistics, materials, packaging machinery and/or processes, numerical analysis, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Mandatory requirement: Conversational English at a B2 level (demonstrable).
