Job Description
- Receives patients’ documents through WhatsApp, secures the authorization using dedicated online interface, and registers the required information on the WhatsApp logging system.
- Informs patients about the status of their authorization and requests any additional information.
- Receives patients and performs registration procedure on HIS System.
- Checks necessary documents and IDs for accuracy and completeness.
- Verifies patients’ third party payer coverage for eligibility and obtains authorizations using dedicated online interfaces for walk-in patients.
- Prepares and issues invoices.
- Performs daily audits on invoices and third-party payer documents issued and coordinates timely delivery of invoices with Outpatient Center coordinator.
- Answers telephone and responds to inquiry or refers caller to appropriate personnel; handles patient inquiries on services bill
Qualifications
- BA Degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in outpatient billing field.
- Administrative skills, Organization, and Time Management abilities.
- Customer Service skills and Communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Demonstrates a strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems. Ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic; French is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
