Operator (Contract Role)

We are looking for an Operator on a contract to support our electronics manufacturing operations. The operator will be responsible for running and monitoring SMT production machines, ensuring smooth production, maintaining quality standards, and following safety and process guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor SMT production machines and equipment.
• Support the SMT line setup, changeover, and production activities.
• Load and handle PCBs, components, feeders, and materials as per production requirements.
• Monitor the production process and identify machine/process abnormalities.
• Perform basic machine checks and inform the technician/supervisor in case of issues.
• Conduct visual inspection of PCBs for component placement and soldering defects.
• Follow work instructions, SOPs, quality standards, and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures.
• Maintain proper production records and follow traceability requirements.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of electronic components and PCBs.
• Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards on the shop floor.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
• Support the team in achieving daily production and quality targets.

Requirements

• ITI / Diploma / 12th pass or equivalent qualification.
• 0–3 years of experience in SMT, PCB assembly, electronics manufacturing, or a similar production environment.
• Basic understanding of electronic components and PCB assembly will be an advantage.
• Ability to work in shifts.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and production instructions.
