Job Description

Job Title: Operations Manager- Manufacturing/FMCG
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
YOE - 7-10 Years
Industry: Manufacturing/FMCG
Salary: 800,000 - 1M

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support the coordination of manufacturing operations, plant readiness, and project execution for a leading Manufacturing/FMCG company.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the transition from project execution to plant operations.
- Support plant readiness across production, maintenance, HSE, quality, and staffing.
- Coordinate OEMs, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Track engineering, procurement, equipment installation, and project milestones.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and critical spares.
- Develop and maintain operational/project trackers, reports, KPIs, and action plans.
- Support the development and implementation of SOPs, processes, and operational systems.
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Legal, Engineering, HSE, Procurement, and other teams.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 7–12 years of relevant experience** in manufacturing operations, plant operations, engineering/project execution, industrial operations, or related environments.
- Strong experience in **Manufacturing/FMCG or Agro-processing** is highly preferred.
- Strong project execution, stakeholder management, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing contractors, OEMs, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong KPI/performance monitoring and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver against aggressive timelines.

Preferred Industry Background
Candidates from established Manufacturing, FMCG, Agro-processing, or Industrial companies are particularly encouraged to apply.
