About this role

Job Summary

To plan and deliver Scouts & Guides training programmes for school children, focusing on discipline, leadership, teamwork, life skills, physical fitness and responsible citizenship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular Scouts & Guides training sessions for school students.
  • Deliver age-appropriate activities covering discipline, leadership, teamwork, basic scouting skills, drills, games and life skills.
  • Support formation and strengthening of Scouts & Guides clubs/teams in schools.
  • Prepare students for relevant Scouts & Guides levels, assessments, investiture ceremonies and camps.
  • Organise practical activities, drills, outdoor learning, camps and special events.
  • Identify and nurture students with leadership potential.
  • Coordinate with school management, teachers, NGO partners and HCLFoundation teams for smooth programme implementation.
  • Maintain attendance, training records and participant databases.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual activity reports and provide programme updates.
  • Support assessments to track students’ participation, learning and development.
  • Ensure safe, inclusive and child-friendly implementation of all activities.
  • Participate in programme events, community activities and HCL employee volunteering initiatives, as required.
  • Undertake field travel to programme schools and locations as required.
