Job Description

We’re looking for two Operational Delivery Leads to help us deliver priority process improvement initiatives as part of  as part of our Fundraising, Marketing and Communications (FMC) Process Redesign programme This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving how our fundraising teams work helping to simplify processes, strengthen collaboration and create more time for teams to focus on supporter relationships and income generation. 

This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of work that will make a step-change difference in how we fundraise at Marie Curie. You’ll help accelerate workflows, embed better ways of working and support teams to deliver meaningful improvement across our fundraising operations. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Leading the implementation of priority process improvement initiatives identified through the Process Redesign Programme.  
  • Delivering operational improvement and ways-of-working projects from implementation through to embedding within business operations.  
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across fundraising, technology, compliance, business change and suppliers.  
  • Managing project prioritisation, planning, resource allocation and progress tracking.  
  • Defining, measuring and monitoring project benefits and outcomes.  
  • Reviewing and optimising end-to-end processes, ensuring improvements are compliant, owned and embedded.  
  • Supporting culture change by influencing ways of working and helping teams adopt continuous improvement practices. 

What you’ll need:  

  • Experience delivering process improvement, operational change or ways-of-working projects.  
  • Strong planning, prioritisation and project coordination skills.  
  • Confidence working with different stakeholders and influencing across teams.  
  • The ability to manage a busy workload independently and keep progress on track.  
  • A collaborative approach, with strong relationship-building skills.  
  • Experience embedding change, supporting culture change or helping teams adopt new ways of working 

You’ll be someone who is confident working independently, managing a varied workload and bringing structure to complex pieces of work. You’ll need strong process improvement skills, excellent stakeholder management experience and the ability to influence others, build relationships and keep momentum moving.

Salary: £38,007 - £42,230 plus LW where applicable (£3,500)

Contract: 12 month FTC  

Based:  Remote or Hybrid - If Hybrid the options would be to work from either our Edinburgh or London office - we're happy to discuss what works best for you!
