What You'll Do

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair oil boilers, burners, and heating systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance, tune-ups, and system cleanings
  • Service and maintain pumps, hoses, nozzles, and related oil heating equipment
  • Service and maintain heating oil tanks, including interior and exterior systems
  • Respond to service calls and identify and resolve safety concerns
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and service departments throughout the workday
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of service and repairs performed
  • Deliver courteous, knowledgeable, and professional service to customers
  • Follow company safety procedures and uphold high standards for quality and efficiency
  • Manage the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 50 lbs

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Oil and/or Propane Service Technician
  • Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing oil burners, boilers, and heating systems
  • HVAC service experience preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while effectively communicating with customers, dispatchers, and team members
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Valid driver’s license
