Job Description

Purpose of the Job

Build your client onboarding expertise from Mauritius while supporting Ocorian's UAE business and its clients. As part of the Client Onboarding team, you'll play an important role in creating a smooth experience for new clients, coordinating due diligence, engagement agreements, entity set-up and regulatory applications across a range of UAE structures.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain international exposure and develop your knowledge of UAE corporate and financial services requirements while working closely with clients, colleagues and stakeholders across jurisdictions. You'll help move new business successfully through the onboarding journey and into ongoing administration, while developing valuable technical knowledge and contributing to a consistent, high-quality client experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Guide clients through the onboarding journey, providing clear and professional support from initial engagement through to handover.
  • Review due diligence documentation and coordinate with clients to gather the information required for onboarding.
  • Support clients with the completion of forms, questionnaires and business plans as part of the onboarding process.
  • Prepare Client Engagement Agreements and coordinate their completion with clients and relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate client creation, billing set-up and related onboarding activities.
  • Maintain accurate and complete client information and documentation within internal systems.
  • Prepare and coordinate entity set-up, registration and licensing applications relevant to the UAE jurisdiction.
  • Work closely with UAE colleagues and other internal teams to support the successful onboarding of new client entities.
  • Coordinate handovers to administration teams, supporting a seamless transition into ongoing client service.
  • Support offboarding and other entity lifecycle activities through the preparation and coordination of relevant documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues across Mauritius and the UAE to deliver a consistent client experience.
  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance onboarding processes, service quality and the overall client journey.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Law, Management, Finance or a related discipline.
  • A professional qualification relevant to corporate or financial services would be beneficial.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience within client onboarding, financial services, corporate services or a related professional environment.
  • Understanding of corporate structures, client onboarding and regulatory processes, with knowledge of the UAE financial services environment considered beneficial.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues across jurisdictions.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining accurate client records and delivering a high-quality onboarding experience.
