Job Description

We are looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiver – Labourer to join our Sept-Îles team.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for receiving, sorting and handling non-ferrous metals. The work is mainly performed indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks depending on operational needs.

This position focuses on manual work, material handling and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for a reliable, active individual who is comfortable performing physical work.

Responsibilities :

• Welcome customers and follow applicable procedures;
• Unload, sort, inspect and handle materials;
• Identify and classify non-ferrous metals;
• Weigh and organize materials;
• Prepare shipments and incoming materials;
• Maintain site cleanliness and organization;
• Work safely and follow health and safety standards;
• Perform other related duties as required to support operations.

Qualifications

To join our team :

• Experience in an industrial, recycling or related environment (asset);
• Experience operating a forklift or other equipment (asset);
• Knowledge of different types of metals (asset);
• Ability to perform manual work and work indoors, with occasional outdoor work;
• Good physical condition and comfortable performing repetitive tasks;
• Responsible, punctual, resourceful and safety-conscious;
• Strong team player with good collaboration skills.
