Montefiore Medicine/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Department of Neurology, is seeking M.D. new faculty hires at the Assistant or Associate Professor level with interest in Cognitive Neurology and Dementia.  A career path in research is not exclusive. General neurologists or neurologists with additional Fellowship in other Fellowships, clinical trialists, are welcomed for a dual role.

The candidate should be interested in assessing patients with Dementia including Alzheimer’s disease (AD), vascular dementia, and Fronto-temporal dementia (FTD). They will work with interdisciplinary team at our Center of Excellence for Alzheimer's disease. The CEAD (Center of Excellence for Alzheimer's Disease) is one of ten Alzheimer’s Disease Centers of Excellence supported in part by a grant from the New York State Department of Health. An interest in teaching and training medical students, Residents and Fellows

All applicants should be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology. Research and clinical mentors will be provided to guide early career Neurologists. General Neurologists with an interest in geriatric neurology welcomed. The level of appointment will be commensurate with credentials.

Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Neurology department are nationally recognized for quality of patient care and provide clinical, academic, and research leadership in the region.

We are looking to fill both junior and advanced positions. with the advanced candidate will be working in a leadership position with systemwide expert- Dr Jessica Zwerling.

 For candidates, there is a competitive salary (260,000-300,000) in leadership and (240,000 to 260,000) for junior level positions. We offer the opportunity to supplement income with productivity incentives. LTD, STD, paid malpractice, CME with stipend, health, dental, vision and a 403(b) with match are also offered.
