Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure LAN/WAN network equipment i.e. Cisco Routers, Cisco Traditional/Meraki Switches and Nexus Switches.
  • Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources.
  • Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.
  • Monitor the network to ensure optimal performance.
  • Test release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility.
  • Create technical support documentation for Network Devices.
  • Should have troubleshooting and configuration knowledge of  Velo/Versa SD-WAN
  • Should have troubleshooting knowledge of Cisco ISE & DNAC solutions.
  • Should have troubleshooting and basic operational knowledge of Cisco ACI.
  • Should have troubleshooting and Operational knowledge of Nexus 7k/9k.
  • Provide technical oversight of a multi-site enterprise-level WAN, including planning, implementation/expansion, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
  • Design, deploy, and administer the wireless infrastructure and supporting systems i.e. Cisco Wireless Controllers 2500/4500/5500/9000 Models.
  • Management of Cisco Meraki AP’s
  • Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.
  • Research and recommend approaches for Network administration tasks.
  • Analyze and monitor Network security and implement patches and fixes to address potential security holes.
  • Document incidents, track resolutions, and provide detailed reports to senior team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex network problems.
  • Assist in the implementation of network changes and updates under supervision.
  • This job role requires candidates to monitor the network. The team works on a 24x7 basis and on call support during the weekends. Team members are required to work rotational shifts including night shift.
