• Strong Linux networking skills and the ability to troubleshoot routing, interfaces, packet captures, firewalls, tunnels, timing, and performance issues.

• Experience with Wireshark or equivalent tools for packet and protocol analysis.

• Knowledge of PON technologies and BBF network architecture standards (e.g., TR-101, TR-156, TR-178) is a plus; familiarity with the OMCI protocol (ITU-T G.988) is a nice-to-have bonus.

• Experience with cloud-based (Kubernetes) networking is a plus.

• Ability to understand technical documentation, including network protocol standards and RFCs, software and hardware configuration guides, schematics, work instructions, and test procedures.

• Ability to develop and present technical solutions to customers and internal teams.

• Experience in pre-sales technical support, including product demonstrations and feasibility analysis, is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Business-level fluency in English, written and verbal, is a must.

Travel

  • Travel to customer labs or deployment sites for integration, testing, or investigation purposes, frequency varies and may reach up to 50%.

  • Occasional travel to Harmonic corporate offices for training.
