At SWARCO, we are committed to shaping the future of smart mobility and sustainable transport solutions. We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Network Administrator to join our EV charging operations team in Dundee on a 6 month fixed term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working with data, systems, customers, and operational stakeholders to support the successful delivery of EV charging services. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our charging network, coordinating commissioning activities, managing customer and asset data, and ensuring the efficient administration of operational processes.

Job Description

As a Network Administrator, you will:

  • Provide day-to-day administration and support for EV charging network back-office systems.
  • Coordinate the commissioning and activation of new EV charging infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate customer, site owner, and asset records across multiple systems.
  • Support invoicing, billing, and financial administration processes.
  • Produce operational, performance, and SLA reports to support contractual requirements.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, site owners, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Support the wider Operations Team with administrative activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all records, documentation, and reports are maintained accurately and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities

Network Administration

  • Administer and maintain EV charging network back-office systems.
  • Ensure customer, charger, and asset information remains accurate and up to date.
  • Manage network records, documentation, and audit trails in accordance with company procedures.
  • Support data integrity across all business and operational systems.

Commissioning & Asset Management

  • Coordinate the commissioning and activation of new EV charge points.
  • Ensure assets are configured, tested, and available for customer use.
  • Maintain accurate asset and ownership records throughout the asset lifecycle.
  • Support onboarding activities for new network infrastructure.

Customer & Stakeholder Support

  • Act as a primary contact for customer and stakeholder enquiries.
  • Provide professional and timely responses to customer requests.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, site owners, suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support customer account management and onboarding activities.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce operational, performance, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) reports.
  • Analyse operational data and identify trends or areas for improvement.
  • Investigate discrepancies and support root cause analysis activities.
  • Deliver accurate reporting to support business and customer requirements.

Financial Administration

  • Support invoicing, billing, reconciliation, and financial administration activities.
  • Ensure charging session data and customer records are accurately maintained.
  • Assist with purchase order and commercial administration processes where required.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, data quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Support business improvement initiatives across the Operations Team.
  • Contribute to process development and best practice implementation.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience working in an administrative, operational support, or customer service environment.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
  • Experience working with databases, back-office systems, or operational platforms.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data accurately.
  • Experience producing reports and analysing operational information.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Right to live and work in the UK.

Desirable

  • Experience within the EV charging, energy, utilities, infrastructure, telecommunications, or transport sectors.
  • Knowledge of EV charging networks and Charge Point Management Systems (CPMS).
  • Experience supporting commissioning or administration of operational assets.
  • Understanding of invoicing, billing, and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience using CRM, ERP, asset management, or ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contractual reporting.
  • Awareness of UK GDPR and data protection requirements.
  • Qualifications or training in business administration, customer service, project coordination,
