We’re looking for a systems administrator with a solid background in Microsoft SQL Server, ESX, and ESXi engineering and administration to help us create solutions for Navy systems that will stand up to even the most advanced cyber threats.

As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll assist with the ongoing design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical sustainment of Navy production networks. You’ll coordinate work with in-house teams to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you’ll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You’ll lead the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions, to maintain a balance of security and Navy mission needs. You Have:

• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Standard
• 2+ years of experience with VMWare
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Security+ or IAT Level II Certification

Nice If You Have:

• 1+ years of experience installing and setting up software and implementing DoD STIGs
• 1+ years of experience applying security patches to systems, including security vulnerability reporting
• Knowledge of FISMA, DoD, and DoN information security doctrine
• Knowledge of best practices regarding requirements management, development, design, and testing, and system and software architecture practices, tools, and methodologies

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
