What's the job?

  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical leadership and governance across projects, business‑as‑usual activity and service improvement programmes.

  • Create and peer‑review infrastructure and service designs, identifying opportunities for standardisation, simplification and shared platforms.

  • Collaborate with designers, architects, product owners and delivery partners to ensure consistency across programmes and locations.

  • Advise stakeholders on solution feasibility, risks and options, supporting informed decision‑making and initiative development.

  • Manage delivery activity using structured planning and tracking, including EPICs and stories, to achieve agreed outcomes.

  • Champion modern desktop services within the IT community, sharing knowledge and promoting best practice across the organisation.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience designing and delivering technical services within a complex, enterprise‑scale environment.

  • Strong background in senior technical support or service design roles, with recognised subject matter expertise in relevant product areas (InTune, Autopilot, Windows 11)

  • Experience working with third‑party providers and managed service partners to deliver technology solutions.

  • A feedback‑driven approach to service design and continuous improvement.

  • Clear, inclusive communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
