Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial trailers, tractors, and fleet equipment—on mobile road calls and in-yard service, with a heavy emphasis on trailer repair.
- Inspect and service trailers including bodies, brakes, suspension, hubs, axles, tires, and electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Perform diesel mechanic work on tractors and fleet equipment, including engine, drivetrain, brake, and electrical diagnostics and repair.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and structural trailer repairs to keep equipment safe, reliable, and DOT-compliant.
- Keep customers moving by delivering prompt, professional service and clear communication. Service area extends roughly 50 miles across the greater Philadelphia/South Jersey corridor.
- Document work accurately through detailed work orders, inspection reports, repair notes, and findings for management.
- Maintain DOT-ready standards so trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring to the Team:

- 5+ years’ experience repairing commercial trailers, with working knowledge of diesel tractors and fleet equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Hands-on strength and stamina to lift 100+ pounds and work in a mobile service environment.
- Basic computer and communication skills for repair orders, billing, and documentation.
- Reliable follow-through to complete daily tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- Experience with welding a plus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school degree, a plus.
- Class A CDL is a plus.
- Your own tools and reliable transportation.
