Job Description

As part of our Point Cook and Surrounds relief team, you’ll step in to support different OSHC services where you’re needed most, giving you the opportunity to meet new teams, build your industry experience, and make a real impact for children every day.

As a diploma qualified Educator, you will be available to pick up shifts Monday through Friday before school 6am-9am and after school 2pm-6pm shifts. Extra hours available during school holidays too! Minimum availability required for this position is 3 afternoons per week.

About our Point Cook services

The Point Cook community is welcoming, diverse, and highly engaged, with families who value meaningful relationships and high-quality care. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of our established services in the area, supporting around 100 children each day across Before and After School Care.

Our Point Cook services are all about creating a fun, engaging environment where children can explore their interests and build new skills. A range of club programs are offered across the services, including Homework Club, Singing Club, Dance Club and Soccer Club giving children the opportunity to learn, be active, express themselves, and connect with their peers in ways that are meaningful to them.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for working with children. 
• A team player with aspirations to grow and learn in the role 
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
• State working-with-children check. 
• Australian working rights.
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)  
• VIC Diploma-Level - Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a Diploma-level Educator in VIC in accordance with ACECQA
