This role is ideal for a backend-leaning full stack engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems while developing a deeper understanding of business logic and payment flows.

You’ll work on integrations with payment processors and third-party systems, support ongoing improvements to payment infrastructure, and help ensure our systems remain secure, reliable, and high quality. This is a strong opportunity for an engineer who is eager to grow long-term, expand domain expertise in payments, and contribute to systems that directly impact core business operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, maintain, and improve backend-focused payment solutions using C# and .NET.
  • Integrate new payment processors and third-party systems to support evolving business needs.
  • Contribute to payment-related flows across the lifecycle, including transactions, refunds, chargebacks, and related service interactions.
  • Support ongoing refactoring and improvement of payment infrastructure to increase quality, resiliency, and maintainability.
  • Write and maintain automated tests, including unit tests and, where applicable, integration tests.
  • Work with complex SQL queries and data flows in a high-load environment where quality and performance matter.
  • Help keep systems secure and aligned with PCI compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with teammates to understand business needs and translate them into reliable technical solutions.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to support engineering productivity and delivery.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to strong engineering standards across the team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a backend focus.
  • Proficiency in .NET frameworks, C#, and data access technologies.
  • Knowledge of MS SQL, including working with more complex queries and performance-sensitive data scenarios.
  • Familiarity with writing unit and integration tests (e.g., using Jest, NUnit, Playwright, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks).
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Interest in learning the payments domain and developing an understanding of the business logic behind payment flows.
  • Experience with LLMs / Generative AI tools (e.g., OpenAI, Copilot, Cursor).
  • Experience with Web Page performance optimization and measurement will be a plus.
  • Upper-intermediate level of English or higher.
