Medical Scientific Advisor
About this role
The Medical Advisor is a senior scientific and medical expert responsible for providing strategic medical consultation across clinical development programs. The role advises on protocol design, study feasibility, endpoint selection, safety considerations, clinical development strategy, and medical writing deliverables including protocols, CSRs, IBs, regulatory submissions and publications. The position supports sponsor engagement, bid defenses, and cross-functional project teams.
Responsibilities:
Advise on protocol design, endpoints, inclusion/exclusion criteria and study strategy.
Review protocols, CSRs, IBs, safety reports and regulatory documents.
Support medical writing quality and scientific accuracy.
Participate in sponsor meetings, proposal reviews and bid defenses.
Provide medical consultation for feasibility and business development opportunities.
Support medical monitoring and safety-related discussions when required.
Mentor teams and contribute to SOPs, training and scientific best practices.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
MD or PhD in Medicine, Life Sciences, Clinical Pharmacology or related field.
Minimum 10 years relevant experience in CRO, biotech, pharma or academia.
Strong expertise in protocol design, clinical development and medical writing.
Experience with protocols, CSRs, IBs, regulatory documents and publications.
Strong understanding of ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
