Mechanical Design Co-op (8 Months, September 2026)

The Opportunity:

8-month placement, starting September 2026

How You Will Contribute: 

• Develop mechanical design solutions for circuit packs and optical plugs incorporating current technologies in physically dense and thermally constrained environments

• Create mechanical part and assembly designs and drawings

• Evaluate first samples and build prototype assemblies

• Manage and maintain 3D printer equipment

• Maintain engineering databases

The Must Haves:

• Education: Actively enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering,

• 3D design tool experience, preferably Creo or Solidworks

• Strong analytical and design skills

Nice to haves:

• No additional nice to have qualifications provided.

Pay Range: The hourly rate for this position is $25.50-$35.00/hour
