Raytheon is seeking successful candidate for an MRO / chemicals materials and Operations Management role within Raytheon Vision Systems. The successful candidate will operate in multiple shop floor control and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and procurement related systems to ensure alignment between material position and factory requirements

What You Will Do: 

  • Evaluating and coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements
  • Providing status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed
  • Managing 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) suppliers
  • Operate as site lead / POC for these 3PLs managing relationships with partners
  • Lead process improvement activities and cost reduction initiatives
    Place orders through TCMIS / Incora system used to coordinate with supply chain and suppliers
  • Work to support factory to resolve chemical material shortages and other issues impacting product build
  • This role will work closely with the factory and operations teams to ensure production execution.

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related filed and 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in material management, Production Control, Supply Chain and or Manufacturing Operations.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience working with 3PLs
  • Experience working with SAP
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with various disciplines
  • Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Outlook/Skype
  • 2+ years of procurement activity or working with supply base activities.
  • Experience being accountable to track and manage budgets
  • Ability to understand complex systems and processes
  • Ability to apply Lean and 6 Sigma concepts to improve departmental, factory related, and cross-departmental processes
  • Motivated and takes on challenges with minimal direction, with the ability to see when something needs to be done and react accordingly.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
