Job Description
- Perform brickwork, blockwork, stonework, plastering, screeding, and concrete repairs as per project requirements.
- Read and interpret drawings, layouts, and work instructions to ensure accurate execution of masonry works.
- Construct and repair walls, partitions, foundations, pavements, and other structural elements.
- Prepare and mix mortar, cement, and other construction materials.
- Ensure all masonry work is completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other construction trades to ensure smooth project execution.
- Identify and report defects, material shortages, or site issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Mason in construction projects.
- Experience in blockwork, plastering, tiling, and concrete repair works.
- Ability to read basic construction drawings and specifications.
- Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and site safety practices.
- Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions.
