About the Role

Are you creative, curious, and looking to gain hands-on marketing experience?

As our Marketing Intern, you'll support the Protocase and 45Drives marketing team across a variety of real-world projects while developing your skills alongside a collaborative team.

You'll contribute to internal communications, social media, events, podcast production, research, and other marketing initiatives supporting both companies. You'll also have opportunities to take ownership of projects and develop practical tactics and ideas that contribute to company growth.

What You'll Do

• Support internal communications through Workvivo, company TVs, and other communication channels.
• Create and coordinate social media content.
• Assist with event planning and logistics.
• Provide behind-the-scenes administrative support for podcast production.
• Research and develop marketing ideas for specific product lines and capabilities.
• Support the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Collaborate with members of the Protocase and 45Drives marketing team.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and help develop tactics and ideas that support company growth.

What You Need

Education

• A degree or diploma in Marketing or a related field, or relevant experience and/or a demonstrated interest in marketing.

Experience

• An interest in gaining hands-on experience across a variety of marketing activities.
• Experience working on projects that require organization, communication, and attention to detail.

Technical Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills and comfort learning new technology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Other Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions while also taking initiative.
• A self-starter mindset with a willingness to take on challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to work on-site in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

What Would Be Considered an Asset

The following qualifications are not required, but would be considered an asset:

• Experience using AI tools.
• Experience using Canva.
• Previous exposure to social media, internal communications, events, content creation, or other marketing activities.
