To assist in promoting the hotel's brand, products, and services through effective marketing campaigns, content creation, digital engagement, and stakeholder relations. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, coordinate day-to-day marketing initiatives, maintain relationships with media and key influencers, support public relations activities, manage marketing collateral, and contribute to the achievement of the hotel's business objectives. The role plays a key part in enhancing brand visibility, driving guest engagement, and strengthening the hotel's market position.

Creative, organized, and results-oriented Marketing Assistant to support the execution of the hotel's marketing and communications activities.

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing and communications campaigns to support business objectives.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and data collection to support marketing strategies and decision-making.
  • Coordinate promotional activities, events, partnerships, and brand activations.
  • Support the creation and distribution of content for social media platforms, email campaigns, websites, and other marketing channels.
  • Assist in managing the hotel's digital presence, ensuring content remains current, engaging, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Monitor, track, and prepare reports on marketing campaign performance and key performance indicators.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, campaign schedules, and project timelines to ensure timely delivery of activities.
  • Organize and maintain marketing collateral, image libraries, databases, and other marketing assets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, designers, writers, agencies, media partners, and vendors to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing function, including scheduling, purchase orders, invoicing, and coordination of supplier relationships.
  • Assist in building and maintaining positive relationships with media representatives, industry partners, influencers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support the delivery of exceptional guest experiences through effective marketing activities that enhance brand visibility, drive engagement, and contribute to overall client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Full Grade 12 School Certificate certified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).
  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years' experience in a marketing, communications, or public relations role.
  • Experience in hospitality, tourism, or service-related industries will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, digital marketing, and content management.
  • Experience creating marketing content for digital and print platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with graphic design and content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
