About this role
Essential Job Functions:
- Package brick products according to established production, quality, and safety requirements.
- Perform the duties and responsibilities of a Packager, including preparing, handling, stacking, wrapping, labeling, and otherwise preparing finished products for shipment.
- Cross-train and provide coverage as a Pack Tech when needed.
- Cross-train and provide coverage as a Shipping Hilo Operator when needed.
- Assist with other Shipping and manufacturing activities as assigned.
- Safely operate equipment and machinery associated with assigned duties after completing required training.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Perform quality checks and report product or packaging issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow production schedules, work instructions, and established procedures.
- Work cooperatively with other employees and departments to support daily operations.
Perform other duties as assigned based on business and operational needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, or shipping experience preferred.
- Ability to safely learn and perform multiple job functions.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate material-handling equipment, including a Hilo/forklift, as required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to changing work assignments and operational needs.
Physical Requirements

Work Environment
This position works in a manufacturing and shipping environment and may be exposed to dust, noise, moving equipment, varying temperatures, and other typical manufacturing conditions. Employees are expected to follow all safety procedures and use required PPE at all times.

- Physical Activity: Requires more than 2/3 of the time standing, walking, using hands and fingers, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, speaking, hearing, tasting or smelling; requires less than 1/3 of the time sitting.
- Lifting: Requires lifting up to 10 pounds more than 2/3 of the time; and lifting more than 100 pounds less than 1/3 of the time.
- Vision: Requires accurate close, distance, color and peripheral vision, including the ability to adjust focus and use peripheral vision.
- Environment:Β Β Requires more than 2/3 of the time working near moving mechanical parts, and being exposed to fumes, airborne particles and outdoor weather conditions; 1/3 to 2/3 of the time in wet or humid conditions, in extreme heat or cold, and exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals; and less than 1/3 of the time in an office setting, in high places, at risk of electrical shock and near vibration.
