Basic Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology.  Engineering Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline with a preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher.  

 

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:[Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.] Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Responsibilities for this Position

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:

Apply your classroom-learned skills to Manufacturing Engineering projects that support the defense of our country. GDMS has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to help translate engineering designs into reliable, repeatable production processes.

 

The selected candidate will work alongside manufacturing engineers, production teams, and other technical colleagues to support process development, document work instructions, analyze production data, and help investigate manufacturing issues. The intern may also contribute to improvements in quality, efficiency, and producibility. This role offers hands-on experience, a competitive wage, and a flexible work environment where contributions are recognized and rewarded.

 

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $23.50 - USD $29.00 /Yr.
