JOB SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the recruitment process for Hotel Executive Committee (ExCom) roles and hourly/non-management roles on an ad hoc basis as required. The role closely collaborates with hiring managers, HR professionals and candidates.
This position requires proficiency in English, along with language skills that correspond to the languages spoken in the geographical area where the candidate has been employed. Proficiency in additional languages would be preferred.
This position is responsible for facilitating the flow of candidates through the recruitment process. Key duties include posting job openings, reviewing applications, triggering and reviewing assessment scores if applicable, conducting phone screens, coordinating interview logistics, tracking and updating candidate progress in our recruitment system, completing reference and pre-hire checks, managing duplicate profiles, and finalising the hire in the system. Additionally, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator ensures a positive candidate experience through clear communication and timely follow-ups.
The ideal candidate exhibits a strategic approach to sourcing top-tier talent and possesses strong organisational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and resolve issues effectively. They are also passionate about delivering exceptional service in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, always with process improvement in mind.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education
- 3-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on executive-level roles.
- Proven experience working with senior stakeholders is preferred.
- Prior experience in a human resources capacity within the hospitality sector is advantageous.
- Strong business English communication skills, both spoken and written, are essential.
- Proficiency in languages spoken in the relevant geographical area is required.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
The key responsibilities of this role can include, but is not limited to:
- Provide QA and support for job postings generated by Hiring Managers, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Post, track, and monitor job vacancies on the company’s recruitment system.
- Review and screen applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screens and trigger assessments where applicable to curate candidate shortlists for interviews.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and relevant stakeholders.
- Track candidate progress and update their status in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Manage applicant communication, ensuring timely updates and responses.
- Coordinate pre-hire checks, including reference and background verifications.
- Finalise the hiring process within the recruitment system.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience through effective communication and follow-ups.
- Address inquiries and troubleshoot issues with efficiency and urgency.
- Prepare documentation and correspondence as requested.
- Gather feedback for continuous improvement of the recruitment process.
- Maintain a service-oriented approach that aligns with the company culture and brand.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to enhance team performance and recruitment outcomes.

- Provide timely updates and information to supervisors, co-workers, and candidates through various communication channels.
- Attend and actively participate in relevant meetings to stay aligned with recruitment objectives.

SKILLS
- Strong understanding of talent acquisition principles and human resource practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and recruitment-related software, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment related software and channels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with candidates, HR professionals, hiring managers and fellow recruiters.
- Highly detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, repetitive and at times stressful environment, while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
