📝 Overview

The Sales Manager will lead a team of 3-4 individual contributors. This is a player-coach role with both leadership and individual contribution responsibilities.

The role ensures the team executes against Sitemate playbooks, operating principles, frameworks, and values while driving continuous development of individuals. As a cultural leader, this role will set the standard for sales excellence and collaborate closely with other managers, directors, and the GM to deliver strong results across Oceania.

Employment:

  • Full-time

  • Based: Sydney, Australia

  • OTE Remuneration (Including Super): A$200,000 - A$260,000

    • Base: A$140,00 - A$182,000 (including Super)

    • Commission: A$60,000 - A$78,000 (including Super)

Storm is the #1 data capture agent for the front line of the built world - converting audio, photos and videos into clean structured records.

With conversational support in-app and across SMS, Whatsapp and phone calls, Storm is shifting front line workers from paperwork and clunky digital forms, to natural language and multi-channel data capture.

Our core platforms are Dashpivot (safety, quality and field reporting), Gearbelt (fleet and asset management), Flowsite (no-code integrations), and the Sitemate mobile app for every worker on site.

We have strong product-market fit, generating thousands of new leads per month through word of mouth and organic channels. We are backed by Blackbird, with 200 people across 18+ countries and entities in Australia, the UK, the US and Canada.

🔧 Day-to-Day

  • Work closely with Account Executives and Account Managers to coach, review pipeline, and support development.

  • Run weekly team meetings & call review sessions to review performance, align on goals, and reinforce playbooks and frameworks.

  • Run demos, and close deals to contribute to individual sales targets.

  • Provide real-time deal support to reps, including joining customer calls and helping with negotiation.

  • Partner with directors and the GM to align on strategy, report on progress, and contribute to broader Oceania sales performance.

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and ramping of new Mid-Market sales team members when needed.
